Watch the First Trailer for the ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ Remake
Let’s do the time warp again.
The Rocky Horror Picture Show TV remake is a real thing that is happening soon, and it’s either going to be glorious or a disaster. For this just tuning in, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 cult classic about a pair of young lovers who, waylaid by a flat tire, wander into a crazy mansion where the Annual Transylvanian Convention is underway.
They will never be the same again. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was not an immediate success, and only gained a following a year after its release when a New York City theater held singalong screenings. Here’s the original trailer:
The new teaser doesn’t give too much away (except for Janet’s cleavage): It appears to be an early encounter between Janet, Brad and Dr. Frank-n-Furter, the mad scientist made famous by Tim Curry, now played by Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox, which gives us a vote of confidence for the made-for-TV movie (yep, they are still doing those.) Former American Idol star Adam Lambert will take over for Meat Loaf as Eddie. No comment.
