The camera opens on a cute young woman in a yellow crop top dancing energetically. “What do you want?” she asks us, before grabbing an enormous bag of French fries from somewhere off camera and scattering them everywhere. “Yes,” I think. “That’s exactly what I want.”
Then things get weird — really weird. Out comes a bottle of ketchup, which she squirts into her mouth, then spits up all over the fries. Then, she reveals that the pink tub she’s been dancing in all along is filled with ketchup, which she starts splashing all over the fries, stopping only to rub it all over her arms while yelling “more, more, more,” almost maniacally. I love ketchup. I wonder where she got that much ketchup. I want that much ketchup. Then she picks up a shovel and starts shoveling globs and globs of ketchup all over the fries.

I have watched this video at least a dozen times since I discovered it last night. It is the most incredible thing on the internet.
The star of the video — which has racked up 9.6 million views — is Showry, a South Korean “feminist shock comedian.” Her videos are meant to be a parody of Muk-bang, a popular genre of videos that consist of people, usually attractive young women, eating massive quantities of food on camera. She describes her series — in which she does other stunts like blowtorching a messy pizza while screaming or kissing dead fish while dressed like a mermaid — as “weird, sexy, fun.” A woman after my own heart.
