Sick Or Treat! 11 Halloween Cocktails

It’s Halloween! Get sugared up, boozed up, and roaring happy before it’s over!

Blood Sucker

Ingredients:


2 oz. Vikingfjord Vodka


2 oz. blood orange juice


1 oz. Champagne/Dry Prosecco


.5 oz. Aperol

Directions:


Press two blood orange slices into bottom of wine glass. Add 1/3 full of crushed ice. Add blood orange juice, Aperol, and Vikingfjord vodka. Fill another 1/3 with crushed ice. Add champagne. Top with crushed ice, add straw.

Bloody Devil

Ingredients:


3/4 part SVEDKA Clementine


3/4 part sweet vermouth


3/4 part orange juice


1/2 part orange Curacao


1 dash orange bitters


*For Fake Blood:


1/2 cup white corn syrup


1 tablespoon cornstarch


1/8 to 1/4 cup water


15 drops red food coloring


1-5 drops blue food coloring

Directions:


Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake, and strain in to a martini glass. Garnish with orange peel.


*For Fake Blood: In a bowl, mix together the corn syrup and the corn starch. Add water until the mixture is the consistency of blood. Mix in food coloring until you achieve the desired color.

Boozy Brew

Ingredients:


1 1/2 parts SVEDKA Cherry


1 1/2 parts watermelon juice


Splash of orange liqueur


1/4 part fresh lime juice


Pinch of salt


2 drops black food coloring (red/green/blue mixed together)

Directions:


Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake, and strain in to a martini glass. Garnish with a watermelon wedge.

Candy Corn Collins

Ingredients:


2 parts BACARDĺ Superior          


¾ parts fresh lemon juice      


¾ parts simple syrup              


½ parts soda water                  

Directions:


Build all ingredients except soda water in a shaker glass or tin. Add ice, shake, and strain over fresh cracked ice and candy corns. Top with soda water.

Corpse Revivalist (From Forty Four at Royalton)

Ingredients:


2 oz Grey Goose Vodka


1/4 oz Lillet Blanc


1/2 oz Lemon Juice


Juice of half a blood orange


3 pieces of cubed cantaloupe


Slice of blood orange

Directions:


Muddle cantaloupe with blood orange juice and vodka in a shaker. Add Lillet Blanc and lemon juice to the shaker. Shake and strain into a classic cocktail coupe, garnish with half of a blood orange slice.

GandolfElixir

Ingredients:

3 parts BACARDĺ Superior

1 part Pedro Ximenez Sherry

½ part apricot brandy

1 heaping bar spoon sugar

3 dashes Fee Bros. Black Walnut Bitters

Orange zest

Directions:

In a mixing glass, add sugar and bitters. Gently mix the bitters and sugar using the end of a bar spoon. Add all other ingredients except for orange, allow sugar to dissolve, then add cubed ice to your mixing glass. Gently stir and strain over fresh cubed ice. Garnish with an orange slice.



The Great Pumpkin (From BLT Burger)

Ingredients:

3 scoops vanilla ice cream

3 heaping tablespoons of pumpkin pie filling

Crushed graham crackers

Pumpkin pie spice (4 parts ground cinnamon, 1 part ground cloves, 1 part ground nutmeg)

The Kraken spiced rum

Directions:

Blend the vanilla ice cream with the pumpkin pie filling, one heaping tablespoon of the crushed graham crackers, and two shakes of the pumpkin pie spice.  Garnish with whipped cream, one shake of the pumpkin pie spice, and several pieces of candy corn.



Solerno Bloodshot

Ingredients:


1 lychee fruit from a can


1 fresh blueberry


1/4 oz. Campari


1 oz. Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur

Directions:


Place the blueberry in the lychee fruit so it looks like an eyeball. In a shot glass, pour the Campari and place the lychee eyeball inside. Chill the Solerno with ice and strain into the shot glass. Shoot and enjoy!

Orange Scream Pop

Ingredients:


2 parts SVEDKA Orange Cream Pop


1/2 part heavy cream


1/4 part vanilla syrup


Float grenadine

Directions:


Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice, shake and strain in to martini glass. Garnish with candy corn.


*Vanilla Syrup: De-seed one vanilla pod and cut in to quarters. Steep in one cup of hot water, turn off heat, and add one cup of granulated sugar. Store covered for 24 hours, strain into a container.

The Great Pumpkin (From The LCL: Bar & Kitchen

Ingredients:

¾ ounce Buffalo Trace Bourbon 

¾ ounce Myers Rum 

½ ounce Pierre Ferrand Cognac 

¾ ounce cinnamon-vanilla simple syrup

¾ ounce egg white 

1 ounce pumpkin puree

Directions: 

Dry shake. Wet shake. Serve in a coup glass. Garnish with grated nutmeg. 



‘Twas a Dark and Stormy Night

Ingredients:


2 parts BACARDĺ Select    


4 parts Ginger Beer        


2 dashes Angostura Bitters


Squeeze of Fresh Lime

Directions:


Pour ginger beer and lime into a glass over ice. Combine BACARDĺ Select and Angostura Bitters in a separate glass and float (pour over the back of a spoon) over ginger beer and lime. Garnish with a ghost Peep.
