Smashing Pumpkins’ Billy Corgan Now Runs a Website Called PeopleAndTheirCars

It’s about people and their cars. Sometimes.

To quote the good people at Spin Magazine, “something’s up with Billy Corgan.” The Smashing Pumpkins‘ frontman deleted his Twitter account yesterday, but before he did he made one final tweet to say “I’m deleting this account.”

From the ashes of the thing known as “Billy Corgan’s Twitter Account” has risen his new website called PeopleAndTheirCars , which is an assorted collection of images showing people, and their cars, but then also an equal amount of photos having nothing to do with people, or cars. With no other contextual info given. In the “Wherefore” tab of the site, Corgan asks that if people share his images of people and their cars, to please link back to his site. So let’s commence with the sharing. First I must pose the question: Is this some manner of art shit?

Can you spot the car?

Nope. Nope. Can’t seem to find the car.

Definitely a plane.

Hmmmmm. What can be learned from this? Maybe a clue can be found in the tab labeled “Stuff?” Nope, there’s just a few links to completely random things to purchase from the site like tea, and a keychain.

Is this website the first episode of the new X-Files season? I’m confused. Billy?
