Snoop Dogg Will Be A Playable Character In New ‘Call Of Duty’ Games
Snoop wields an iced-out assault rifle and a gold Operator outfit in the latest “Call of Duty” mobile and console games.
The D-O-Double-G is coming to Call of Duty. The ultra-popular first-person shooter franchise announced that gamers will be able to run-and-gun as Snoop Dogg in three Call of Duty titles, Uproxx reports.
“The D O Double G is back in Call of Duty and this time I’m in the freakin’ game!” Snoop said in a statement provided by Call of Duty publisher Activision.
“Excited to be working with the COD team to bring some fly features for you all to enjoy. It’s dope….. y’all can play as me and get these sick items that have Snoop written all over them. Check it out.”
The west-coast rapper and entertainment icon will first appear in Season 3 of the Call of Duty: Mobile for Android and iOS via a Lucky Draw, an in-game lottery mechanic that allows players to win random items by spending CoD points.
A digital Snoop will be depicted dripping head-to-toe in a gold Operator outfit and equipped with a matching, diamond-encrusted signature weapon based on the Legendary SMG. Eliminating a player with the icy assault rifle will trigger a finishing move marked by flashing lights and a mini-concert.
A more comprehensive Snoop Dogg Operator Bundle will be available in the battle-royale only Call of Duty: Warzone and WWII-themed Vanguard installments.
This pack features 10 items—three exclusive to Vanguard—and rewards across 20 levels of Operator progression, including Weapon XP for Snoop’s preferred weapon from Vanguard, three alternate outfits, and other cosmetic items.
The Snoop Dogg Lucky Draw in Mobile goes live on April 1, while the Warzone and Vanguard bundles will be available on April 19.
