Someone Edited the ‘Suicide Squad’ Trailer So It’s All About Harley Quinn
And we’re definitely not complaining.
When the official full length trailer for Suicide Squad debuted a little over a week ago, the internet blew up. And it wasn’t because of the excellent use of ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ or our first real look at Jared Leto’s take on the Clown Prince of Crime, or even the complete and utter destruction we’re about to bear witness to when the movie is released. No, what caught our eye was a lot crazier than that.
Margot Robbie, the 25-year Australian actress, is portraying Mistah J’s quirky and overtly hostile lover, Harley Quinn, and the trailer footage alone has us hooked by her grasp. Aside from already being the most recognizable DC character in the line-up of lunatics featured, the film is clearly placing a spotlight on the stunning breakout star Robbie who has what it takes to be a serious show stopper.
Because we’re patiently awaiting for when the fictional supervillain lands her very own solo movie (our bet is before 2020), feast your eyes on a fan-made Harley Quinn trailer that someone made using the existing Suicide Squad footage. Overlayed with a perfectly chosen Halsey track, this is a movie we’d definitely want to see.
