Audiences will have to wait until Friday, July 7th, to catch Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is earning rave reviews ahead of its release.
But Sony and Marvel knows anticipation is undying, so they’ve dropped the first four minutes to tide fans over until Friday.
The clip is likely uncharacteristic of the full movie. The first four minutes are comprised of a homemade video shot by Peter Parker, played by newcomer Tom Holland this go-around, detailing what he was up to during Captain America: Civil War.
There’s a brief look at Parker, in his Spider-Man getup, fighting alongside the Avengers in a showdown from Civil War.
Like the first trailer, the clip is mostly witty tête-à-têtes between Parker and his imposing mentor Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man). Parker’s enthusiasm is hilariously matched with Stark’s cynicism.
