Iron Man Is the Real Star of the All-New ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Trailer

There’s also a glimpse of Michael Keaton as Vulture.

The next iteration of the Spider-Man franchise, Homecoming, gives English actor Tom Holland a coveted shot at the Spidey suit.

But if the second trailer for the Marvel flick is any indication, this is really Iron Man’s show.

Yes, we see nice guy Peter Parker grapple with his new powers, and Tom Holland proves to be a very likable lead. Still, it’s when the high-rolling Tony Stark shows up as his begrudging mentor that the trailer really shines.

In one thrilling sequence, Iron Man swoops in to assist Spider-Man save a collapsing ship of innocent civilians. Parker evidently has a lot to learn about saving the day, but Stark will be there to show him the ropes.

There is even a glimpse of Michael Keaton as the film’s chief villain Vulture, although we haven’t been shown the full extend of his evil capabilities yet.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7.
