There is seemingly no end to the amazing teasers and bits of new info regarding Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie that we’re being served until the film’s release on December 18. In a recent segment on The Tonight Show, the film’s director J.J. Abrams revealed to Jimmy Fallon that during a chance encounter with Lin-Manuel Miranda (right after Abrams saw his epic musical Hamilton) the possibility was thrown out there that Miranda might be down to create some new cantina music for the film. Abrams obviously took him up on the offer.
And here’s more proof that this is actually happening, direct from the source:
We did.
Worked on it between 6pm & 7:30 on 2 show days for the past 2 months.
JJ is the best.
Can't wait to see.

We can’t wait to hear and see it for ourselves.
