Watch The Final Trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ and Be Amazed
Luke is back, and you’ll have plenty of questions.
A new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered during halftime of Monday Night Football last night, and there’s plenty to be excited about ahead of its December 15 release, including a freaky little creature that has already become an internet sensation.
Before you click play on the video though, heed this warning from director Rian Johnson, who recently wrote in a tweet that if you want to enter the theater in your Chewbacca mask ready to be surprised, do not watch this trailer. But if you want to get hyped for the release, WATCH IT NOW.

There’s a lot to take away from this 154-second trailer, including a longer look at Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker than we got in all 135-minutes of J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Skywalker appeared only briefly at the end of the last installment, but here he’s back at the beginning, old, ragged and reluctantly taking Daisy Ridley’s Rey under his wing.
The trailer leads to plenty of questions: Is Kylo Ren going to blow up General Leia’s ship? Are Rey and Ren forging some kind of alliance? Where are the characters played by Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro? And how long is your aunt going to have to wait in line at Target to buy a stuffed porg for her kid this Christmas?
This trailer promises to be the last one until The Last Jedi hits theaters in December, which means you’ll have plenty of time to watch, rewatch and analyze it over the next two months. So go ahead, watch it again.
