Sylvester Stallone Has Named His Absolute Worst Movie Ever
Do you agree?
If Sylvester Stallone ever played the Hollywood diplomacy game, he isn’t anymore. He turns 73 on July 6 and he obviously doesn’t give a damn, because he just named what he thinks is his worst movie: Escape Plan 2.
And that was the word he used, saying it was indeed “the worst produced film I have ever had the misfortune to be in.”

The Rocky star laid it all out in an Instagram caption for a video in which he and his friend, director John Herzfeld, introduced a fight scene from Escape Plan 3. He wrote in part:
Here I am with my lifetime friend , and Director , JOHN HERZFELD , Who directed the upcoming film Escape Plan 3 – The Extractors ! Escape Plan 2 WAS TRULY THE MOST HORRIBLY PRODUCED FILM I have ever had the misfortune to be in , but this new film was made in an extraordinarily short amount of time , 17 nights , dusk till dawn , no breaks , we ate while we worked!!!!
The Crew were under unbelievable pressure. . Proud of them! But I wanted this battle be as realistic as possible. I showed up on the site for the big final fight scene that takes place in a very very old cell that is 9‘ x 7 … they had spent all this time choreographing this Martial arts type of combat. I said forget it.
Why don’t we go in there and just let it rip. Like a real fight!!!! . Nobody does this anymore … NO CUTS! ONE LONG TAKE – No choreography, so you don’t know what’s coming until it hits you. I asked the other actor who has a lot of guts,Devon Sawa , If he was game? I said it’s gonna hurt and he replayed “ bring it “ …
Punches from 70-something Sylvester Stallone are still coming from Rocky Balboa himself, so kudos to Devon Sawa. Still, Sly’s words kind of stung his fellow cast member from Escape Plan 2, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the man sometimes known as Fiddy published an image showing Escape Plan 2‘s box office losses and captioned it, “How the fuck I’m in the worst movie Rambo made? [W]hy the fuck Rocky say that. [T]his your fucking fault Randell.”
The “Randell” in question was Escape Plan 2 producer Randall Emmett, whose own Wikipedia bio includes, “He is best known for owing 50 Cent … a large sum of money.”
50 can’t be that mad, he’s also in Escape Plan: The Extractors. Watch the trailer above.
Dave Bautista is even in there, too.
Let’s hope for Emmett’s sake that the new movie kicks ass, given all these intimidating actors are involved. Because yeah, he produced this one as well.
Escape Plan: The Extractors is available on Digital, Blu-Ray combo and DVD beginning July 2. Escape Plan 2: Hades is available on Amazon Prime, Youtube, and anywhere people aren’t really paying attention to what they rent online.
