Sylvester Stallone, like his Vietnam vet cinematic alter ego John Rambo, isn’t done yet. The man is living proof age is nothing but a number.

This teaser trailer for Stallone’s upcoming Rambo V: Last Blood is the best supporting argument for that statement. If anything, a 70-something John Rambo may—in a way—even be more dangerous than the shredded Rambo from the earlier films, as one thing old men have on younger counterparts is they can be a lot more crafty and mean when they have to.

Rambo’s inventiveness in wreaking havoc on his enemies is on full display in this explosive trailer, which quickly segues from a sketch of the ferocious ex-operative’s seemingly quiet—and perhaps sad—life on a ranch to a situation much more Rambo-like.

One that entails guns, knives, arrows, and fire. Lots of fire. The synopsis:

Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo.

Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission. A deadly journey of vengeance, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD marks the last chapter of the legendary series.

It’s very clear the last blood here will be drawn in revenge, as well—which is in keeping with the thing that always made Rambo so appealing anyway. Not unlike John Wick, he’s a quiet, righteous, incredibly deadly man seeking blood for blood—and for reasons the audience totally understands.

Will Rambo ride off into the sunset at the end of this movie, or will he have to go down himself in reaping his final vengeance?

We’ll see when Rambo V: Last Blood premieres on September 20.
