Georges St-Pierre Talks The Nature of Violence In This Exclusive Teaser For ‘The Hurt Business’

The UFC documentary also features Ronda Rousey, Jon Jones and other MMA superstars.

In this exclusive clip from The Hurt Business, an upcoming documentary from director of the bodybuilding doc Generation Iron, former UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre reveals what his life would be like if he never stepped into the Octagon. He’d be working with his brain, instead of his body. “I was studying in kinesiology,” he says.

“I’m not one of the fighters that want to fight because I didn’t have a choice. I chose to do this. It was my dream and I chased that dream,” he says.

Director Vlad Yudin followed some of the UFC’s biggest fighters for this doc, going behind the scenes with Jon Jones, Rashad Evans and Ronda Rousey, while diving deep into the rise of sport that began with bloody backyard brawls. Along the way, there are interviews with titans of the fight game, including Ken Shamrock, Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz.

The Hurt Business also probes some of the most important issues facing MMA right now, including brain injuries and the effects a sports as violent as this can have on society at large. The movie opens everywhere at the end of September.
