Watch The Intense First Teaser for Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman’
It doesn’t show much at all, but it’ll still give you chills.
Sometimes all you need to make a seriously good trailer is some ominous music, the sound of bullet casings hitting the ground, and a slow scroll of some of Martin Scorsese’s most iconic collaborators: Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel.
That’s essentially the teaser for Scorsese’s The Irishman, which premiered during an Oscars commercial break on Sunday night. By the time you hear someone say “I heard you paint houses” and De Niro answer “Yes, I do,” the anticipation gets ratcheted up even higher.
The Irishman–which is based on Charles Brandt’s novel I Heard You Paint Houses—is coming to theaters AND Netflix this fall. Watch the intense teaser above.
