There’s a New TV Show About James Bond’s Creator

His name is Fleming. Ian Fleming.

His name is Fleming. Ian Fleming.

Gentlemen, start shaking your martinis! A new drama about the life of long dead James Bond creator Ian Fleming (he passed away in 1964) is coming soon to BBC America. Starring Brit Dominic Cooper (the dude who played Tony Stark’s drunk dad Howard in Captain America: The First Avenger), the show will “take a no holds barred look at Ian Fleming, the man behind the James Bond legend whose real life was as exciting, eventful, and sexually charged as his famous creation.” Considering the dude fought in World War II, worked in British Naval Intelligence, and had a thing for strong booze and gorgeous women (sound familiar?), we’re all set to give Fleming a season pass on our DVRs.
