‘Men in Black 4’ Is Coming, And It’s Reuniting ‘Thor’ Stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson
They make this look good.
Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson are headed to the big screen again as their characters from Thor: Ragnarok. But they’re not getting the old team back together for a superhero movie—Hemsworth’s Thor and Thompson’s Valkyrie will appear in a fourth installment of Men in Black.
Wait, what?
Yes, there will be a fourth Men in Black. And don’t call it a reboot; it’s a spin-off. Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith won’t be back as Agents K and J. According to THR, Men in Black 4 will “feature new characters” and “build on the contemporary sci-fi world in which they operated.”
F. Gary Gray—who directed Fate of The Furious—will direct the new MIB, and Iron Man writers Matt Holloway and Art Marcum are set to handle the screenplay.
As to how Marvel’s Asgardians will mesh with the universe of alien hunters from Men in Black, well, we have no idea—the story is still a secret.
We do know the preliminary release date: Look for this crazy hybrid on June 14, 2019.
