In his first major move since retiring from the NFL, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is headed to Hollywood to make a comedy movie called 80 for Brady.

Inspired by a true story, the feel-good flick follows four diehard New England Patriots fans who travel to see their superstar quarterback claim another Lombardi Trophy at 2017’s Super Bowl LI.

While Brady left the league as a Buccaneer, he’ll be play himself as a Patriot in the Paramount Pictures-backed project, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The outlet reports Brady was also “deeply involved with the inception” of the movie and will serve as producer through his 199 Productions company.

The four female friends will be played by veteran actresses Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno and Sally Field. Kyle Marvin, who co-wrote the script with Michael Covino, will direct.

While 80 for Brady marks the football legend’s largest Hollywood undertaking, it’s far from his first. As Hypebeast notes, he’s previously made cameos in The Simpsons, Family Guy, Entourage and Ted 2.

While Brady cruises into his post-NFL career, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are searching for a replacement for the GOAT of NFL QBs. See the Bucs’ next-quarterback odds from MaximBet here.
