Amy Adams Stuns In Gritty New Trailer for Revenge Thriller ‘Nocturnal Animals’
Check out this creepy clip of the latest movie directed by designer Tom Ford.
Revenge is what’s on the menu for this Amy Adams-led feature film from fashion designer-turned-indie director Tom Ford, that’s already built up plenty of Oscar-worthy buzz from screenings at the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.
Adapted from 1993 novel, Tony and Susan, the new footage for Nocturnal Animals places main character Susan (Adams) at the forefront, a proclaimed “nocturnal animal” by her ex-husband (Jake Gyllenhaal) who receives a copy of his latest novel that puts their depressingly violent marital issues on blast.
Susan admits to do something horrible in her past, but of course, we are left pondering just what that is, and if it’ll come back to haunt her. The clip breaks into a double narrative, fit with flashbacks, live depictions from the titular piece of dark literature, and a hefty splash of strategically placed red imagery.
Watch the trailer above, and get ready to see its A-list cast headlining award ceremonies following its release in select theaters on November 18th.
