Tommy Lee Got Stuck Upside Down While Drumming On a Roller Coaster at Mötley Crüe’s Final Show
And there’s video.
Mötley Crüe performed their final show ever (as of now) at Staples Center in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. The band has been ramping up to this grand finale for the past few months and took care to pull out all the stops for what they hoped would be a show so massive and crazy that it would cement the memory in fan’s minds forever. While the show didn’t go off as seamlessly as they would have liked, it certainly ended up being memorable when, during a drum solo performed on a custom made flying roller coaster set, Tommy Lee got stuck upside down for an awkwardly long time. Skip ahead about three minutes if you wanna go straight to the upside down part:

Tommy seemed to laugh it off, ending things on a playful note.
