Monday, September 19

9:30 p.m. 2 Broke Girls(CBS)

What does one hot actress (Kat Dennings) plus one more hot actress (Beth Behrs) equal? Why, that adds up to the awesome new sitcom 2 Broke Girls. Finally, some math to actually get on board with! Don’t let the fact that it’s made by the creators of Sex and the City turn you off (it’s a fair guess that show did more than enough of that for you), this one’s actually a funny, sexy comedy about a pair of mismatched waitresses/roommates struggling to get by in the Big Apple. Here’s a tip: Don’t miss this one.

9:30 p.m. The Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen(Comedy Central)

Joining the prestigious ranks of David Hasselhoff, Flava Flav and Pamela Anderson, Mr. Tiger Blood himself, Charlie “Winning” Sheen will be the subject of a Comedy Central roast where he’ll have roast master Seth MacFarlane, comedians (Jeffrey Ross, Jon Lovitz, Amy Schumer), celebrities (Kate Walsh, Mike Tyson, William Shatner) and other (his “goddesses”, ex-wife Brooke Mueller, Steve-O) hurl some stinging zingers at him for two hours. Plus, in this case, the guest of honor might actually hurl some stuff back, too! Cocaine is a hell of a drug, kids.

Wednesday, September 21

11:00 p.m. Blue Mountain State (Spike)

Sure, it sucks that classes are back in session for college students (especially when they keep teaching all that non-2 Broke Girls math) but at least during “study” sessions you can watch the new season of Blue Mountain State. In the third season premiere, not only does Alex (Darin Brooks) get a bigger, better position on the team, but occasional pro football player Chad Ochocino makes a guest appearance. If that’s not enough to get you to enroll in this comedy, Denise Richards reprises her roll as the team’s coach’s sex-crazed ex-wife. That’ll teach you to not apply to a fictitious school!

Thursday, September 22

8:00 p.m. Charlie’s Angels(ABC)

Charlie’s Angels is like the gift that keeps on giving. Its first variation in 1976 gave the world Farrah Fawcett (and that iconic poster ) that helped a whole generation into puberty), while the 2000 movie and its 2003 sequel gave Cameron Diaz another reason to dance around in her underwear and Demi Moore another chance to prove she’s still got it. Now there’s the latest TV reboot about the trio of sexy crime fighting ladies, which features a recently-single Minka Kelly  chained to her co-stars Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor  while visiting a women’s prison. In other words, you’re going to have to seriously revise the order of your Christmas wish-list this year.

Friday, September 23

8:00 p.m. Nikita (The CW)

If you didn’t get your fill of pretty ladies kicking ass and taking names with Charlie’s Angels, well, you’re in luck, guy! The second season of yet another reboot, Nikita, returns with Maggie Q playing the titular (heh, we said titular) assassin. In the premiere ep, Nikita and Michael (Shane West) pick up where they left off and attempt to take down Division and Oversight. In other news, the crimes committed by Maxim readers increase this week by 437% in the vain hope that they’ll be tracked down by Nikita or Charlie’s Angels.

Saturday, September 24

11:30 p.m. Saturday Night Live(NBC)

Settle in with a delicious pint of Schweddy Balls and take in every ounce of the 37th season premiere of Saturday Night Live as 30 Rock MVP Alec Baldwin hosts for a record-breaking 16th time. He may never have been a full-time cast member (though, let’s be honest, he definitely should have been), but we still really want to see some of his old characters return, like the line-crossing Scoutmaster who brought Adam Sandler’s Canteen Boy into manhood. Here’s to hoping musical guest Radiohead plays some of their greatest hits from the 90’s, too. Good times.

Sunday, September 25

9:00 p.m.Boardwalk Empire (HBO)

There may be no other show on television with more crazy-eyes-per-square-inch than the cast of Boardwalk Empire (see: Paz de la Huerta, Steve Buscemi, Michael Shannon) but we still can’t keep our peepers off this damn good crime drama. In the second season premiere, it’s a gangster’s paradise when Nucky (Buscemi ) tries to bring the real estate game to Atlantic City, Jimmy (Michael Plitt) gets some career advice and Al Capone (Stephen Graham) tries to break some more Prohibition laws in Chicago. Yeahhhh, see?
