On Sunday night, Yeezy (sorta) shocked the world when he announced his preemptive candidacy in the 2020 election. But the internet doesn’t want to wait another 4+ years for the contest of a lifetime. Twitter users have already marked their ballots against current presidential hopeful, Donald Trump, and the results leave little room to wonder who would sit in the Oval Office if social media had the final vote.
Immediately following Kanye West’s announcement, #YesWeKanye, #Kanye, and #VMAs began trending. Shawn King of JusticeTogether.org tweeted a poll, which currently has ‘Ye beating Trump 1,105 to 58… and counting.
