Watch an Advanced Stream of U2’s Video For “Song For Someone”

Bono’s back in this moody new video.

Rather than find a way to surgically implant their latest release into your eyeball like they forced their last album onto everyone’s iTunes library, U2 is going the supply and demand route with their B&W video for “Song For Someone:” it’s viewable ahead of time on Facebook for 24 hours.

‘Don’t let it go out…’ Illustrator and photographer Matt Mahurin directs this visual meditation on ‘Song For Someone’, from U2’s latest album Songs of Innocence.

The band unveiled the video on their Facebook page today and it features a performance by Bono filmed earlier this year in Malibu. The director of the video, Matt Mahurin, previously worked with U2 on 1993’s ” Love is Blindness.” Stream it here while you can.
