Arrested Development isn’t the only canceled series that’s making a triumphant return this summer. The improv comedy show Whose Line Is It Anyway? – which aired for 9 seasons on ABC and ABC Family between 1998 and 2007 – is being revived by the CW, with new episodes slated to begin on July 16.
Aside from host Drew Carey (who has been replaced by the beautiful and hilarious Aisha Tyler), the improv show will feature all three original cast members, including Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady.
In the first new clip, which was released today, the guys attempt to create an on-the-spot comedy routine about one of the CW’s other television revivals: 90210. We’re not sure about Brady’s singing routine, but on the other hand, that’s sort of like, his thing, so whatever. Stiles and Mochrie appear not to have skipped a beat, picking up right were they left off – which is to say, both are still gifted improv comedians. Stiles also looks pretty much exactly the same as he has for 20 years. Mochrie, well…not so much. But he’s still super funny!
Check out the clip below, then set your DVRs for Whose Line? later this summer.
