Watch Hulu’s Trailer For ‘The Curse of Von Dutch: A Brand To Die For’

Venice Beach surfers, gangsters, and Hollywood celebs all vied for control of the infamous brand — pushing it from obscurity to one of the most recognizable labels on Earth.

Perhaps no fashion brand is as synonymous with early 2000s-era sartorial excess as Von Dutch, whose trucker hats and graphic t-shirts were seemingly everywhere back in the day, as well as relentlessly favored by the likes of Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Tommy Lee and more.

A new Hulu docuseries lifts the lid on the seedy underbelly of the brand, which includes murder, betrayal and financial improprieties. The trailer is appropriately scored by Crazy Town’s trashy 1999 hit, “Butterfly.” Here’s an official synopsis:
