As the Montreal Canadiens laid the smackdown on the Boston Bruins at the 2016 Winter Classic in Foxborough, Massachusetts on Friday, hockey fans were engaged in a little New Year’s competition of their own: Who can bring the most ridiculous weapon to a extremely crowded (and likely boozy) sporting event?
