You Can Now Help Bring One Of The Scariest Games Ever To Life

Allison Road seeks to scare the living daylights out of you.

Looking for a new game to scare the hell out of you? Allison Road, a Kickstarter-supported video game project, may well be one of the most terrifying of all time. There’s just one caveat. It needs you in order to come to fruition. It’s a first-person survival horror game that’s in the works as we speak, and its hyper-realism, spooky set pieces, and pedigree all make it a project worth backing…if you like being scared to death, that is.

Allison Road is the next best thing after P.T., the canceled video game project from Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima and director Guillermo del Toro. It was meant to become Silent Hills, another entry in the Silent Hill saga starring The Walking Dead’sNorman Reedus, but unfortunately the game was canceled almost directly after the demo was released.

P.T. was a one-of-a-kind experience that dropped players into a realistic house that you’d travel through again and again, traversing the same hallways and rooms until some very disturbing things began to occur. Suddenly the entire house would be coated in red lights, eyeballs in every window and portrait, and a bizarre, fetus-like creature in the bathroom sink. Absolutely terrifying.

Allison Road picks up right where P.T. left off, a captivating project from Lilith Ltd. that needs $388,281 in funds in order to succeed. Developer Chris Kesler and the studio have raised $146,652 at the time of this article of the goal with 26 days to go, so it’s almost certain that the game will earn enough money to come to light, but  we can’t let another one of these ultra-terrifying games to slip by. If you want more believable horror, you’ve gotta get in on Allison Road.
