The mystery of Zendaya’s role in Spider-Man: Homecoming has been solved. Citing unnamed sources, The Wrap reported Thursday that the singer, actor and former Disney child star will play Peter Parker’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson.

This newest reboot of the often-rebooted superhero franchise will star Tom Holland as Parker/Spidey, and reportedly will focus closely on Parker’s high school experience. At first Zendaya was supposedly cast as a character named “Michelle,” but it’s likely that was a studio smokescreen maintained to give the production an air of mystery.

No one repping Marvel or Zendaya confirmed The Wrap’s report on her role.

The last Mary Jane was Kirsten Dunst in the three Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films produced between 2002 and 2007.

This, the third Spider-Man movie revamp, is due in theaters on July 7, 2017.
