Heaven’s Door Celebrates Bob Dylan With Two Exclusive Whiskeys
“Knock Knock Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door…”
Bob Dylan’s Heaven’s Door Spirits announced two limited-edition whiskeys ahead of the their hotly anticipated Nashville facility’s 2020 grand opening.
The first, Heaven’s Door 10 Year Tennessee Straight Bourbon, is the one to watch for right now.
They’re down to the last two barrels of the distillery’s inaugural expression—a full-bodied bourbon that’s mellowed with sugar maple, finished in white oak barrels and corked at 100 proof.
Each bottle arrives in a package that fans of the folk legend will love. A commemorative box is adorned with an inscription of Dylan’s hand-typed lyrics to the seminal singles “Maggie’s Farm” and “Subterranean Homesick Blues.”
Heaven’s Door also offered the first details on the upcoming Bootleg Series of rare whiskies, which are named after Dylan’s famous albums of the same name.
The exclusive collection’s initial release will be a 25-year-old whiskey finished in oak casks made of Japanese Mizunara Oak, one of the most expensive woods in the world. Priced at $500 for a fifth, it will be available in very limited quantities for the 2019 holiday season—more details to come.
Meanwhile, you can pre-order one of the last bottles of Heaven’s Door 10 Year Old 100 Proof Tennessee Straight from Reserve Bar for $130 while supplies last.
