Jägermeister and Stone Brewing Release Limited Edition ‘Arrogant Bastard Ale’
This intoxicating collab weighs in at a whopping 8.5 percent ABV.
Stone Brewing’s Arrogant Consortia craft brand and Jägermeister have joined forces to create a badass new beer that’s infused with the hard-rocking German liqueur’s secret blend of ingredients.
Made in Berlin and bottled at 8.5 percent alcohol by volume, Jägermeister Arrogant Bastard Ale is an even stronger take on the Escondido-based company’s already-potent American ale of the same name. As you can probably guess, it’s brewed with 56 herbs, roots, fruits, and spices found in the herbal aperitif.
According to Arrogant Consortia, the exclusive release is “complex and truly unique” and best enjoyed “on fall evenings, paired with a fine meal or simply given as a gift to any true appreciator of liquid arrogance and independence.”
In a video accompanying the release, Stone Brewing co-founder, owner and executive chairman Greg Koch offered a little insight into the inspiration behind this collaboration.
“We have enjoyed pushing boundaries over the years. [For] something a little bit different, [we did] a collaboration with another company that’s so iconic, it stands a part from everything else.” “I look forward to your thoughts,” Koch added, “as long as they’re ‘hell yeah.'”
Priced at $18-$22 for a fifth, production of Jägermeister Arrogant Bastard Ale will be limited to just 20,000 bottles. Click here to see where you can get one beginning October 3.
