Krug Uncorks Trio Of Champagne-Themed Culinary Getaways

Flower-themed Champagne feasts at beautiful boutique hotels.

Krug Champagne is popping bottles with luxury travel agency Indagare Insider Journeys for new curated getaways where guests pair fine bubbly with bespoke meals at three scenic boutique hotels.

The “Indagare Insider Journeys: Discover the Krug Single Ingredient” trip combines exclusive Krug cuvées with private culinary experiences in unique American destinations. The multi-course feasts are inspired this year by a signature single ingredient—flower—which dovetails with the growing organic hotel garden trend that’s lately been sweeping luxury hospitality.

“This year, we embark on a sensory journey into the delicate and vibrant world of flowers—a universal symbol of beauty and sensory delight,” a Krug spokesperson said in a statement. “As gifts from nature, flowers fill our gardens, enchant our senses, and elevate our palates in ways both familiar and unexpected. Guided by Krug Ambassade Chefs, delve into the art of pairing, with dishes that complement the nuanced flavors of the newest Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée and Krug Rosé.” 

The first four-day getaway from October 17 to 20 kicks off at California’s Harbor House Inn, where the Michelin-starred chef Matthew Kammerer presides over an epic open fire meal on a secluded private cove along the Mendocino coast.

Then, from November 11 to 14, there’s a trip to Vermont’s Twin Farms, where chef Nathan Rich teams with Cassidee Dabney from Blackberry Farm for a joint dinner and foraging expedition set amid the picturesque New England countryside. From December 5 to 8, travelers can head to Tennessee’s Blackberry farm itself, where Dabney will work with Kammerer on yet another flower-inspired feast before the majestic backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains.
