Slayer is currently rocking audiences worldwide on their farewell tour, but that doesn’t mean they’re not going out with a boozy bang.

To commemorate 40 years of the thrash metal band’s legacy, Jägermeister is releasing a special-edition bottle featuring original Slayer artwork.

The 1.75-liter handle comes presented in wooden box engraved with what appears to be a riff on Slayer’s signature eagle logo.

You can also customize the package with your name, favorite lyrics, or even a badass quote from late founding member Jeff Hanneman as a tribute to the hard-living guitar legend. The choice is yours.

Slayer has appeared on three different tours sponsored by German digestif brand since 2003, so this intoxicating collab is no surprise.

“We love that they’re creating a limited edition bottle to recognize the end of our journey and it looks awesome,” Slayer guitarist Kerry King told Metal Hammer.

“I’m honored that our friends at Jägermeister hold us in such high regard. I can’t wait to get my hands on one!”

Priced at just over $125 (£100), the release is timed with the band’s performance at Download Festival UK on June 14.

Unfortunately, it’s currently only available through Jäger UK’s online store, but hopefully they’ll ship it stateside when Slayer plays the last North American dates of the Final World Tour
