World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024: Full List Of Winners Revealed

Barcelona’s Disfrutar claims the top spot.

Barcelona’s Disfrutar is currently the world’s best restaurant—at least according to the World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, an annual ranking of fine dining destinations.

The organization’s No. 2 pick is Asador Etxebarri in Atxondo, Spain. Table by Bruno Verjus in Paris is No. 3, Diverxo in Madrid is No. 4, and Maido in Lima rounds out the top 5.

Last year’s top-ranked restaurant, Central in Lima, was notably absent from this year’s list due to a rule that No. 1-ranked eateries be removed from contention in future years to avoid the dominance of past winners like Copenhagen’s Noma and Spain’s El Bulli.

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants List tends to favor international eateries, with the U.S. only claiming two places in this year’s top 50: New York City’s Atomix at No. 6 and Healdsburg, California’s Single Thread at No. 46. The rankings were unveiled June 5 at a ceremony in Las Vegas.
