Calling the Thronos Air a “gaming chair” is like calling a Bugatti Chiron a “car.” Sure, you can sit in it and look utterly ridiculous while playing video games, but that’s nowhere near the whole picture for this veritable throne for the gaming-obsessed.

The Acer Predator Thronos Air boasts a massage function, a triple-monitor mount, footrest, adjustable keyboard and mouse trays and a cable management system. Optional additions including a camera, hubs and the ultimately necessary cupholder can be tacked on for a price above the original $13,999 sticker.

That’s a deep discount over Acer’s original Predator Thronos that carried a $20,000 price tag and included motorized monitor mounts. So yeah, you’ve got that going for you.

Of course, you have to BYO gaming PC, mouse and keyboard, making this a little less enticing for the casual gamer looking to immediately become a Twitch legend.

Acer’s announcement of the Predator Thronos Air also came along with a slew of fantastic upcoming gaming hardware at IFA 2019, like the Triton 500 gaming notebook or the Nitro XV3 gaming monitors, all of which will hit retail in Q4 of 2019.
