Bang & Olufsen Unveils First-Ever Soundbar
The high-end audio company’s first soundbar boasts a three channel sound system, 11 amps and speakers that drive 550 watts.
Bang & Olufsen’s new Beosound Stage soundbar may be the high-end audio brand’s first foray into the soundbar space, but it builds on the company’s audiophile quality and minimalist design just as well as any of B&O’s legacy products.
The Beosound Stage is made for discerning home theater owners who want excellent sound in a single, contained device. The single-speaker design packs a three channel sound system, 11 amps and speakers that drive 550 watts. Like most B&O speakers, pure volume takes a backseat to balanced, crystal-clear sound.
The Beosound Stage also comes with support for Dolby Atmos surround sound, bluetooth connectivity, Chromecasting and Apple’s Airplay 2 streaming. Ultra-simplified controls are integrated right on the device’s housing, which can be sleekly finished in either wood or aluminum.
Pricing is not available yet, but you can sign up for updates here before the Bang & Olufsen soundbar hits the market this fall.
