They’re an old-school shout-out to London’s Ace Cafe.

Bell, the manufacturer of motorcycle helmets founded in California in 1954 and worn by the likes of Steve McQueen, has released two new designs in homage to the legendary Ace Café (above), the London biker hangout where the café racer style of motorbike was born.

The limited edition lids are available for pre-order at acecafeusa.com. The more retro Custom 500 open face version with the Ace Cafe’s Ace of Clubs logo is priced at $159.95 while the full face Bullitt Carbon Blackjack version with a union jack design is $599.95.

Bell’s vintage-inspired Bullitt range is without a doubt the coolest line of moto helmets out there, while the Ace Café is equivalent to nirvana for British motorbike enthusiasts. So we don’t expect these lids to last long….
