Bell & Ross Delivers New Colors With Updated BR V2-92 Watches
The vivid BR V2-92 in Orange and “Full Lum” nod to 30 years of bold watchmaking from Bell & Ross.
How do you make an already distinctive timepiece from Bell & Ross even more eye-catching and yet just as versatile and functional? That’s easy: Update an iconic model in two bold new colors, as Bell & Ross has done with two new editions of the Bell & Ross V2-92.
The Bell & Ross BR V2-92 Full Lum is subtle in its own way and yet visually interesting enough to merit serious space in your watch collection, while the BR V2-92 Orange is a standout style move made for those who favor a unique flair in their wrist game. As for the model number? It nods to the company’s founding year: 1992.
Bell & Ross says the Full Lum model “flirts with the codes of design and fashion,” and is suited for both on-trend city dwellers and watch enthusiasts who prefer a highly durable, rugged tool watch. Accordingly, the competition will be fierce to snag one: Each model is limited to just 500 pieces, at a fairly agreeable retail price of $3,800.
The BR V2-92 in Orange is the style move of choice for those who want to flip their watch collection on its hand, revamping the V2-92 line in a color not found on all that many timepieces. That it manages to harness performance via a highly legible dial, while nodding to the on-trend ’70s, is an added bonus.
Bell & Ross notes that the new special-edition watch plays off a “Pop color that evokes the 70s and the golden age of skating in California,” another inspiration not commonly found in many luxury timepieces.
Available primarily in a stainless steel iteration, the BR V2-92 in Orange can also be refitted with a rubber strap for sporty style and performance.
The Bell & Ross BR V2-92 Full Lum also manages to pull off that tricky balance of utilitarian style and performance, using an engaging luminescent dial properly suited for low-light situations on water and in land.
Both models feature 100 meters of water resistance for ideal performance during most watersports and excursions across the globe and from coast to coast.
The iconic watchmaker knows a good thing when the opportunity presents itself, calling out the fact that the Full Lum design makes this timepiece “the perfect partner for “night missions” of all kinds.”
As to other design details, Bell & Ross has taken plenty into consideration: Note the bi-directional rotating bezel on each timepiece, plus the nicely sized 41mm case diameter.
Within the watch, each model’s precision is also bolstered by the brand’s proprietary BR-CAL.302 automatic mechanical movement. For good measure, the 60-minute bezel scale works well to track explorations of all sorts.
And when one considers the ability to wear the BR V2-92 on both a rubber strap and a stainless steel strap, it’s really the equivalent of getting two watches for under $4,000, a nice deal considering the extraordinarily rugged appeal of Bell & Ross watches.
With either option, distinctive style points and top-notch performance are the name of the game: Be sure your watch collection is updated properly and precisely.
