This Pornhub Chart Shows Just How Huge the Fallout 4 Was for Gamers

Multitasking is difficult, apparently.

Think Fallout 4’shighly anticipated release was a big deal? It hit harder than you could ever have imagined, especially when it comes to porn sites like Pornhub.

The ubiquitous destination for all things porn released a chart detailing a massive decline in traffic coinciding with Fallout 4’s release on November 10. Pornhub told GamesBeat that overall traffic among gamers was down a whopping 10% the same day eager players first ripped into the Wasteland.

The data shows a large drop off in traffic during “peak gaming hours,” according to data on gamers compiled via Google Analytics’ “affinity statistics,” which analyze interests based on Google searches and other online behaviors. Traffic surged again as users headed into the evening hours, possibly as a way to work off all that Fallout 4 stress in, uh, a very specific way.

This chart is fascinating, and it makes us pretty curious about others games’ influence on porn traffic. Did Halo fans ever go without pleasuring themselves for days after the franchise’s latest installment? Given Fallout ‘s massive popularity, one could assume this trend is specific to the game, but it’s worth seeing if this happens for ever major title release.
