Samsung Is Dropping A Monster-Sized Galaxy S8+ With a 6.2 Inch Screen
This is one big-ass phone.
Someone leaked the specs for a plus-sized version of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8, and they detail one monster of a phone. It’s kind of like an evolved, souped-up version of the S8 at nearly the same size of the lesser-known Galaxy Mega.

It looks like the S8+ will rock a 6.2 inch curved screen and some excellent hi-def cameras, with a 12 megapixel main and 8 megapixel front-facing camera. And yes, they’ve added a plus sign just to let us know they’ve upped the game.
The phone also appears to have an iris scanner for security purposes and you’ll be able to charge it with no wires involved, as long as you buy the requisite charging pad.
Samsung has been paying attention to the smart phone durability issue longer than Apple, so of course the spec sheet indicates the S8+ will be just as dust and water-resistant as other top-shelf Samsung products.
One report indicates we’ll get a better look at the S8 and S8+ in April, but we’re not holding our breath for that.
One thing is clear: we’re gonna need bigger pockets.
