Nintendo Is Bringing Super Mario to The New iPhone 7

This will be the company’s first official smartphone game.

Mario is back to cause new mustache envy as the legendary Nintendo video game character makes his way over to iOS.

During Apple’s keynote event to announce the release of the iPhone 7, video game creator Shigeru Miyamoto announced the collaboration between Apple and Nintendo in order to produce Super Mario Run, to be released exclusively on the App Store.

You’ll be able to take control of everyone’s favorite plumber as he darts across the screen, all while doing a simple tap to launch Mario over boxes and onto enemies. Miyamoto goes on to add that you can play the game one handed while riding the subway, eating a cheeseburger, or chomping on an apple—multitasking made easy.

Said to be available around December, just in time for the holiday season, it looks like this one-time cost App Store addition will be the world’s next Temple Run with a heavy dose of nostalgia.

Glad to have you back, Mario.
