These New Porsche Racing Watches Inspired by the Legendary 911 Deserve a Spot on Your Wrist

The mechanics of racing cars and intricacies of watchmaking beautifully collide in three new releases from Porsche Design.

The watch wing of the venerable car brand has channeled designs from its legendary 911 model, delivering metallic timepieces with sporty yet refined looks—the MONOBLOC Actuator Collection, Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series and the Chronograph 911 GT2 RS.

Like parking a shining new Porsche 911 in your driveway, all of these timepieces will put a dent in your bank account. All retail for over $10,000 so consider yourself warned.

In lie of a classic stop function, all offerings from the MONOBLOC Actuator Collection feature a single rocker that is integrated inside the case. Porsche Design claims this function, which is inspired by the engine of the new new Porsche 911 RSR, offers “precision and performance at the highest level.”

While a black and rubber option will not arrive until September, several models are already delivering, such as a titanium blue option for around $7,365 and a titanium rubber option for around $6,800.

Porsche threw “exclusive” in the name for good reason. The Chronograph 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series is available to anyone who buys a 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series for an additional $12,650.

Being part of a select club has its perks, such as a carbon-steel dial and the new Porsche Design Caliber Werk 01.200 in-house movement.

Like the Chronograph 911 Turbo S before it, the Chronograph 911 GT2 RS houses the new the Caliber Werk 01.200 movement. Its design is also similar to that of the 911 Turbo S, save for some color finishes on the dial.

If you are willing to cough up $295,000 on a 911 GT2 RS, you can qualify for one of these bad boys… for an additional $11,000, of course.
