Samsung has announced pre-order availability for its oversized 77” OLED S95C TV–the first to feature Quantum Dot technology in a 77-inch set.

Those who take advantage of the pre-order of the $5,000 TV through Samsung.com or participating retailers by February 20 also will receive free in-home professional installation—a $250 value. The S95C will begin shipping later this month.

Debuted at the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show, Samsung’s new jumbo set boasts a brighter screen, bolder colors and pure blacks, along with Quantum Neural Processor with 4K upscaling, so everything from movies to games displayed on screen is instantly transformed to 4K resolution no matter what the original source resolution.

The Samsung Quantum Neural Processor utilizes AI-based algorithms to analyze content on a scene-by-scene basis, and adds HDR OLED+ to tone map every scene. The end result is a screen image designed to deliver the brightest lights and deepest blacks in sharp 4K resolution.

Samsung’s Smart Hub brings together entertainment, gaming and ambient art options all in one place on the new TV, much like the brand’s popular Frame TV series.

In addition to access to top streaming providers, the Tizen OS-powered entertainment hub delivers access to Samsung TV Plus, Samsung’s free ad-supported TV (FAST) and video-on-demand service which offers nearly 250 channels in the U.S. and thousands of shows and movies on-demand.

Samsung’s slender “Infinity One” design also features modern lines and an attachable Slim One Connect solution that neatly tucks away all cords and cables.

In other Samsung news, its recently-released 55-inch curved desktop gaming screen is a total game-changer.
