Samsung recently unveiled the newest additions to their Galaxy lineup at their Unpacked event in Paris, showing off the latest foldable phones in the supersized Galaxy Z Fold6 and the diminutive Z Flip6, as well as a handful of accessories to go with them. Like the Galaxy 24 Ultra smartphone released earlier this year, these new offerings are imbued with Galaxy AI, a system-wide artificial intelligence to help make searching, creating and sharing as easy as possible. Here’s the lowdown on Samsung’s latest lineup.

Galaxy Z Fold6

Samsung has been leading the charge in foldable tech for years so it’s no wonder the Z Fold6 has the biggest, brightest and most durable screen yet. This is a near-identical form factor to anyone familiar with the line. When folded, it resembles any other smart phone with full capabilities on its outer screen. Unfold for a larger experience that’s more akin to a tablet with a barely noticeable seam in the middle.

It’s a best-of-both worlds, no compromise solution that has likely already found its fans in previous iterations, though Samsung has shaved off a few millimeters to the body, perhaps making it more enticing for anyone previously put off by its bulk. The Z Fold6 does also boast excellent battery life and the best cameras the line has seen to date which are no-brainer updates at this point. The Galaxy Z Fold6 is available today and sports a hefty price tag of $1899, though aggressive discounts are available through service carriers via new contracts and trade-ins.

Galaxy Z Flip6

Considering the moderate updates to the Z Fold6, it’s no surprise to find that its sibling, the Z Flip6, has been updated in much the same way. Millimeters have been shaved off the form factor, the lens array gets a bump up, it still features the best screen ever and overall design out there for a mini-foldable. Motorola is desperate to give it some competition with the return of the RAZR but, at this point, Samsung’s head start and formidable standing in the space gives the Z Flip6 a leg up in terms of durability and reliability that are important to a phone that will open and close hundreds of thousands of times over its lifespan.

For all its good, the unique design of the Flip line is likely to have already found its fans. While the Galaxy Fold phones make the case for both a phone and a tablet in a single device, the Flip is a…phone and a smaller phone. The outer screen may be bright and good for glances and offer up some niche conveniences but any actual use of the Flip6 to do actual phone things requires opening it to full size. For those who find the Z Flip phones to be perfect for their lifestyle, the Flip6 is the best one to date. Starting at $1100 for the base model, the Galaxy Z Flip6 also gets some major subsidies and discounts from carriers like its bigger brother.

Galaxy Ring

An innovative idea with elegant execution, Samsung’s new Galaxy Ring provides active tracking of health data for those who don’t want to downgrade their luxury watch for a smart watch. Coming in silver, black and gold titanium finishes and offering seven days of tracking on a charge, the Galaxy Ring delivers health tracking data directly body to phone, where it can be displayed and reviewed. It’s an unobtrusive solution that has real appeal for anyone health conscious but also prefers something on the understated side. The Galaxy Ring retails for $399 and comes in a range of typical ring sizes.

Watch Ultra

Samsung’s stab at making a watch for extreme athletes, the Watch Ultra may have some conspicuous similarities to what’s already on the market from competitors. Still, since Samsung and Apple famously clash when it comes to cross-compatibility, this is a welcome addition to the lineup for the mountain-climbing, deep-sea diving, wilderness explorers who just happen to prefer Android to iOS. Extremely durable, extra bright and featuring heavy duty sensors, GPS, an ultra-durable build quality and other rugged features, the Watch Ultra will be a favorite for many. Starting at $649 with customizing options available, the Watch Ultra is available now.
