Advice From Famous Vegas Insiders
Find out the best Las Vegas hotspots from your favorite Vegas celebs!
The Pinup: Holly Madison
XS at Encore and Tryst at Wynn
“These are two of my favorite nightclubs, and they’re always full of pretty girls. They’re upscale but not snobby. People come to Vegas to have a good time, so you don’t need to spend $1,000 on a table to impress a girl. Just don’t wear flip-flops!”
Fremont Street
“For a change of scenery, guys should head downtown. During the day it’s fun to just grab a drink and explore the older casinos, and there’s zip-lining on the main drag.”
Wet Republic Pool Party
“May is actually fantastic for pool parties because you’re in the blazing sun. Wet Republic is my favorite, especially if you can snag one of the private cabanas. They have a private pool area, a great menu, there’s always a lot of good-looking people, and it’s right in the center of the Strip. It’s fun to hit up during the day, but you have to factor in time for a nap before going out again at night.”

Texas de Brazil
“This is a spot a lot of MMA guys hit up after a fight. It’s a Brazilian bistro where they serve all these crazy cuts of meat and what they call a salad bar, which is probably dinner in itself.”
Yard House
“This restaurant is about 20 miles away from Red Rock Canyon. I come here for the beer.”
The former UFC Heavyweight Champion is a Las Vegas native.

Lotus of Siam
“My favorite off-the-beaten-path spot is Lotus of Siam. It’s one of two five-star restaurants in the country, and it’s in a strip mall! It’s near a Goodwill and Green Door, a swingers’ club. They have the best Thai food, so spicy it can make you sick.”
Krispy Kreme
“You want to know what I told Johnny Depp? When he and Benicio Del Toro were in town filming Fear and Loathing, they asked me what we should do for fun one night. I said, ‘Let’s get off the Strip and get a donut.’ So at 4 a.m. we went to Krispy Kreme for coffee and raspberry glazed donuts.”
Penn & Teller perform at the Rio. Though a longtime Vegas resident, Jillette doesn’t gamble or drink.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club
“This is a beautiful strip club, and one that’s different from other places on the Strip—the way it’s decorated, the lighting, just the entire vibe. You’re also able to go outside and up onto the roof, where there’s a DJ and girls on poles.”
Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
“If you want to meet women during the day, this is a great spot. It’s got a really beautiful, unique layout, and ladies love coming to see all these exotic animals up close and kind of interact with them. This spot gives you a different angle on Vegas, one that women seem to really enjoy.”
Revolution at the Mirage
“This is a lounge I go to with Carrot Top a lot, just a great place to chill and have a couple of drinks.”
Believe
“And, of course, come see my show. On a Saturday night it feels like you’re in a club. I do 10 shows a week, 46 weeks a year. It’s something I am very proud of.”

Frankie Moreno at the Stratosphere
“Not to be confused with Frankie Marino the drag queen! This guy is a lounge singer, sort of like a cross between Harry Connick Jr. and Dave
Matthews. His show is a crazy, fun version of big band that a lot of young people are into.”
Palomino
“This strip club has been around since the ’70s. I say it’s so old that the poles are wooden and the girls dance for nickels. It’s just down and dirty and kind of crazy.”
The pumped-up prop-comic performs at the Luxor Hotel and Casino.

Cafe Lago
“Every time someone asks, I suggest Lago, at Caesars. They have the best lobster! And Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian is pure class.”

M Resort Spa Casino
“If Bugsy Siegel would have built his dream casino today, it would be the M Resort. It’s not big, but it’s done up to the nines. There’s a private room for gambling where you can actually concentrate and have a chance at making money. The only place I would tell you not to gamble is the Monte Carlo. There are too many tricks on the tables, too many rules, too much shuffling.”
Sapphire
“I don’t even go to strip clubs anymore, but if I did go it would have to be Sapphire. It’s gotta be the biggest in Vegas, and from what I hear, the girls are really beautiful in there.”
The Peppermill
“This place is really old-school Vegas, with neon lights and late-night breakfast food. In the back they’ve got this really cool lounge where you can take a girl. You got space to talk to her, make out with her, grab her tits a little bit. Who cares? No one is looking.”
