This Map Shows the Best (and Worst) Places to Find Single Women

Pack your bags, fellas.

When it comes to dating, we all want to do whatever we can to improve our odds of nailing down the right woman. Outside of a good shirt and sharp haircut, there’s one thing you can definitely do to help your chances: move.

The unlikely matchmakers at Time developed an interactive map showing the ratio of single men to women in every county across the United States using census data collected between 2011 and 2013.

The pink areas show counties where women outnumber man, which ideally indicates spots where competition for the ladies isn’t that fierce, The blue areas show counties where there are way, way more dudes than women. The map above shows the best (and worst) places for men to find single women for Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 (you can explore maps for other age ranges here).

If you want to statistically improve your likelihood of meeting the right lady, take it from Time: follow the data and aim for the pink.
