Hackers Replace ISIS Propaganda Website With Ad for Boner Pills

We’re sitting down, but we’re giving them a standing ovation.

In the aftermath of the Paris attacks that left 130 dead, Anonymous and other hacker groups vowed to wage war on ISIS, disabling social media accounts and sharing the personal information of alleged ISIS recruiters with law enforcement officials. While these efforts haven’t totally removed the terror organization’s presence from the internet, they’re still funny as hell to watch from the comfort of your screen.

Case in point: a group reportedly affiliated with hacker collective GhostSec reportedly isolated an ISIS recruitment site on the dark web (a latticework of hidden sites that require special software to access) and replaced its propaganda messages with … an ad for boner pills.

“Too Much ISIS. Enhance your calm,” reads the site’s mock 404 page, which now includes a gaudy ad for an online pharmacy specializing in erectile dysfunction. “Too many people are into this ISIS-stuff. Please gaze upon this lovely ad so we can upgrade our infrastructure to give you ISIS content you all so desperately crave.”

This is extra amusing considering that the New York Postreported that one of the fugitive Paris militants had a penchant for “gay bars, drugs and PlayStation.” Hopefully those boner pills can help them solve their issues without resorting to cowardly attacks on civilians.
