Give It Up For This Couple Who Had Sex on a Las Vegas Ferris Wheel

And then maybe let them know if you have a good lawyer.

This is not the first we’ve heard of illicit activities taking place at amusement parks, or even sex in public for that matter. But this recent development straight out of Sin City puts all those beach-sex rendezvous and roller coaster orgasms to shame.

The Associated Press reports that a man from Houston and a woman from New York were arrested on February 5th after getting it on in one of the enclosed cabins of the High Roller, a ferris wheel on the Las Vegas Strip. But it seems the only thing they took a gamble on was the risk of future incarceration.

Despite being warned by security and despite cell phone footage taken by onlookers, the couple continued their x-rated rendezvous and are now facing felony charges. But here’s the kicker: According to Time, the woman in question, Chloe Scordianos’ lawyer, Chris Rasmussen, “says his client believed the couple had an expectation of privacy.” Because naturally, when you are in a giant transparent cube overlooking a a sprawling city, you should absolutely assume no one can see you.

Given the fact that a Florida man was sentenced to 2.5 years in jail for his public sex act, we’re not too optimistic for the thrill-seeking couple. Ah, well. You know what they say: What happens in Vegas, stays in prison.
