Having Sex Twice in a Row Has an Amazing Effect on Fertility

A new study debunks everything we knew about making babies.

Why stop when you’re just getting started?

Science has found that having sex back-to-back, or doing it twice in one hour, will kick your fertility into overdrive. So, if you’re trying to conceive, then a two-in-one is the way to go. But, if you don’t want mini-mes running around then it’s best to just cap it off at the first go-around or at least wait a little longer.

This news comes from the North Middlesex Hospital in London, where researchers recruited 73 couples who were undergoing intrauterine insemination (IUI), a fertility treatment where sperm is placed directly into the womb. They found, through means we won’t discuss here, that men produced a much more potent sperm sample the second time around. Specifically, they were over three times more fertile, with an IUI success rate of 20 percent as opposed to just six percent on the first try.

Because, if at first you don’t succeed

These findings turn the common understanding of fertility on its head. Most of us just assume that if you’re trying to increase your sperm count and fertility, then you should save up. That is, you should avoid jerking it or copulating at all costs until it’s prime time. But this means that you’re working with old sperm, when fresher sperm is more powerful.

So, your abstinence was for naught.
