It looks like Jaws may have finally met his match. Shark researcher Mauricio Hoyos Padilla recently posted a new video of Deep Blue, the 20-foot long female shark known as the “biggest shark ever filmed,” swimming around a research cage near Guadalupe Island off the coast of Mexico. Needless to say, the video is as terrifying as it is fascinating:

Not only is Deep Blue massive and old — about 50 years of age, according to Padilla — but also pregnant, which means the Gulf of Mexico will likely be home to a swarm of potentially-massive sharks for years to come. Mother of God.
