Whether you’re in a combat zone or not, paratrooping is risky business – it’s even more so when thousands of extremely pointy trees are involved. Being accidentally dropped right into the middle of a dense coniferous forest ranks right up there with “landing in a pit of vipers” on the list of scenarios you’d rather avoid when jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.
