Girl Learns Truth About Santa, Writes Epically Furious Letter to Parents

Some of us don’t manage that childhood-to-adult transition so well (read: most of your Facebook friends). While posts from your buddy still hitting up college bars may inspire pity, nothing strikes a chord quite like a 10 year old that has just discovered Santa Claus is not real.
Case in point, a 10-year-old girl from Maryland was just given the newsflash that there is no Santa—maybe not even an Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy either. Most kids would just take it on the chin and shun their parents for a solid week or so, but not this girl. Instead, she penned the missives to end all missives—an anger-filled note to her parents that reads like the adult equivalent of getting coal in your stockings. She even drew a universally recognizable emoji to show that she’s not messing around.
